With the destruction caused by doge early in the maladministration and tRump's bbb, it leaves our international standing reduced to rubble, leaves our coffers empty, leaves much of the military leadership suspect, and the just goes on. If there is a next election that is, take a generation to undo

Sure, and it obviously won't be an overnight fix, but the fact that they've largely acted by illegal EO, not legislation, is pretty huge in terms of being able to spin things back up. It's far easier to reinstate the existing law than to pass it again.
