You can put them in the dryer. Now you can use fabric sheets for those pellets that each company now makes. The other thing is by zippered pillow protectors. And put fabric softener sheets in that and then your pillowcase. That's what I do with all my pillows.
I always keep a zippered pillow cover and a pillow case on it & wash those regularly. I’ve just had this one for a long time & I hate buying new ones bc its so hard for me to find ones that don’t fuck up my neck 😭 (I also can’t use scented stuff bc I get headaches 🫠)
I get it I have OG foam pillows. If you can't have scented just by the unscented stuff it will draw out the smell. The dryer works wonders for everything!
my mom did the dryer method. I thought you could steam vacuum them too. I did that for some but can't remember if they were foam or not.
I don't have the steamer so I wouldn't know. But I use the Bissell machine on my sofa which are foam pillows wrapped in batting. And it's fine you just can't oversaturate it if you use one of those. I think a steamer is a great idea!

i had an inexpensive hand steamer when the kids were younger some 20 yrs ago. i have two boys and everything smelled like boy. i used it on the couch, mattress, pillows, everything.
I do that with other stuff, I was just afraid the dryer would fuck this pillow up 😭 I could at least try for a little bit on low heat & just hold it against you forever if she dies 🫶
