Thank you. I caught it at the right time in good light, and believe it's breeding plumage.

That would make sense, and to give you an idea this is pretty much what they look like when they're in Florida

That one is a juvenile, they have those here, too. It will change.

Yeah but even the full grown ones don't get that plumage here, I guess it's just because of their migratory pattern in relation to their life cycle.
