Gerrymandering has been a power grab by each party for over 200 years. Regardless the good intentions of its Redistricting intentions for updates from the migration of people, the abuses continue.

And … there are many states (Dem) that have an independent districting commission. We HAD one in Florida, even passed a ballot initiative but here we are. DeSantis writes the maps and our corrupt state court thinks that’s just fine. If Tx wants to completely gerrymander control so can every state.

I lived in Orlando for 10 years. I never considered that government was corrupt. It was great.
