Not sure that I've made any friends,exactly. But I have learned a TON about crows and got into a bunch of heavy metal bands I never would have heard of elsewise.

If you pop back to Xitter you really notice the difference in responses to the same post. Eg: the UK Met Office can explain stuff on Bluesky without the climate change deniers blocking out everyone else and posts about kind acts aren't swamped by the professional grumpy gits being nasty about it.
