The sense of powerlessness I’ve felt about this (and, y’know, *waves hands* the rest) is… infuriating. I’ve never been in a situation where I felt powerless to affect things that matter to me. Maybe I just never paid attention before 🤦♂️

It may be both. We all overlook things, willfully or not, that others can’t help but notice. It’s human nature. But you can be there for others and make yourself a place of good even when Star Trek isn’t.
