IMO the reason Congress has been able to so thoroughly fucking brush it off is because they’re off on recess and haven’t been personally inconvenienced

I joked the other day about occupations but you either need legitimacy or a show of force that we have not yet seen. To me it seems like they’re (unintentionally) creating a situation thats going to escalate

They want to shoot the protestors in 2020 but time machines haven’t been built yet so this is the next best thing

I get VERY worried when I see national guard troops anywhere, but seeing them on the metro gets my anxiety all the way up. Metro stations are small spaces with only 1-2 points of egress, and all it takes is one guy opening fire for a mass panic event.
