That was the beauty of the leave Campaign, it allowed everyone to vote leave in favour of their own, bespoke, version of brexit ...

None of which, happened... (nobody got a bespoke Brexit)

Of course, but by the time the individual voters realised that, it was already far too late.

Oh I'm sure their realisation only extended as far as realising that their own, personal version of brexit was 'wrong', and that they should instead just go along with the Boris Johmson "Oven Ready" one that they were being given ....

They voted for all sorts of impossible fantasies ofc, including a white ethnostate. The fact Brexit has never formally been called out, least of all by Labour who are in a position to do so, is why ppl are now shouting at hotels (trying to get a white ethnostate)

Yes, pretty much, the fact that they can't condemn Fartage too much without also criticising 'his' brexit, means he and his rampant xenophobia are consequently granted far more legitimacy than they deserve.

“Blue Labour” or whoever they are seem more willing to throw the next election than they are call out Brexit.

I said earlier this week, that they're so terrified of losing the 100 seats in which Reform came 2nd to them, that they'll end up losing their other 312 ...

Word. If Labour just dumped all the RW pandering & conceding ground on the “culture war” BS their polling wouldn’t be anywhere near as dire. Add in some half decent comms & they’d do *ok* at the next GE. As it stands they’re in a death dive

Exactly. The voters voting for such utter bollocks was the beginning of our present troubles.

And just as importantly not having that called out. Not everyone follows this content on SM or listens to James OB or whatever. As far as they’re concerned their impossible dreams didn’t happen because of remainers sabotaging them or whatever

Yep. Agreed. There was a complete abandonment of sense and reason by most of our media/political class in the aftermath. The current descent into shrieking racism shouldn't really be a surprise after such a betrayal.

I still find it maddening how some (admittedly a shrinking number) are prepared to just shrug at what Labour are doing to vulnerable minorities because they think Starmer is secretly rejoining the EU He isn’t 🤷🏻‍♀️
