Former GOP congressman and Trump ally Matt Gaetz proposed bringing Russia into NATO as a long-term way to stop the Ukraine war. He propose it in the moment, when Russia wages aggressive war breaks neighbors’ borders - thus violating the main principles of the alliance.

For the first time, I actually agree with Gaetz. Let Putin into Nato & when he attends, immediately arrest him for war crimes, murder, kidnapping & send him to the Hague. (& then kick Russia out of NATO) Done & dusted.
