I'm confused. There was news the other day that the Senate Parliamentarian would not allow this 'carve-out' for Murkowski to go through. What changed, anyone?

She didn't get that carve out (you can't have an exemption for one state) but she did get some other kinds of tax credits I think. One was for whalers. Yes, whalers. I wish I was kidding.

Thought I'd do some homework. Didn't see anything about whalers, but Murkowski DID get concessions on federal health & food-aid program; got changes on Supplemental Nutrition Assistance & extra support for HER rural hospitals. She made it clear, the rest of us could f**k-off.
