ALS might be the worst disease. It's one of my biggest fears. It's so unbelievably unfair and ruthless. I hope Shannon and your family can finally find some peace.
She has a rare genetic form of it as well. One of her parents died from it when she was young and her children will also need to be informed of it and tested when they get older, which is also part of what the fund raiser will help with. It is certainly a shitty disease that we don't understand yet.
