Talking down to people to get them to "understand you are trying to help them" is counter productive. If you ever actually tried to help people, successfully, you'd realize this.

Well people keep telling me the reality isn't as it is, when I try to explain how the democrats actually work. And so I get a bit tired when people want to defend corrupt politicians, who couldn't give two shits about anyone but themselves. And who gladly take money to help rich people get more.
You're just telling it like it is
I know you're trying to mock me. But yes. I am saying what the reality is. If you want to improve the US, then the first thing you should do is unionize and get every single worker to do the same. And then oust all the establishment dems and replace them with people that doesn't take corp money.
All this hostility towards someone who is going to vote exactly the same as you in November. 😁
I'm not living in the US. I am still deeply concerned that so many still believe the democrats are the good guys, when they haven't actually proven that. Especially during this nearly 2 year genocide in Gaza. I hope more people try to oust the Aipac supported dems and help more progessives in.
I'm more concerned about Trump and his supporters (because I actually live among them) and I'll vote for anyone the Democrats put up, liberal or progressive, to stop and fight them. Have a good day.
I mean if your choice is between a democrat and a republican, then go ahead vote for whoever blue is up for election. But I hope you also try to influence who gets on the ballot for the democrats, so they more allign with your views! And get into a union. We stand stronger together. Not apart.
I recognize where you are at. I was there many years ago. Let me offer some advice, from a person who has turned at least 1 Republican into a Union supporting Democrat, (for whatever good it did them). Be constructive, don't talk down, and don't chastise. Illuminate, don't throw shade.
I am 44 and I live in a country with a VERY strong union culture, that has given us universal healthcare, cheap childcare, free education, 5 weeks paid vacation +7 days for various holidays and a good public transit system. I know you can do better. I just don't know why so many resist it.
