This summer has been pretty weird for north Texas! Mostly in a good way. Never saw temps about 102, and only a few days that hot. Unusually mild. And a lot more rain and storms than the normal *nothing* between mid July and early September. But this morning was wild with lightning!

Yeah this whole summer has been weird as hell. It's good we're not in a drought at least.

I'll take it any chance I get. I dread our typical summers of 2 months of 105F and no rain the way folks way up north dread the coming of winter.

It's not been all that hot and it's still been hot enough to be tired of it by now

LOL. Exactly! Coworkers and I will joke about being done with the heat, then quickly add "but damn, this summer wasn't bad!" I'm definitely ready for our two weeks of Fall then the coming Winter. Even as an 8th generation Texan, I'm better built for highs around freezing than triple digits!
