You’re asking me to prove a negative. Much more relevant for you to cite an example from her history - perhaps a tough legislative win?- that shows that she can. She lost the Senate primary badly. I like the whiteboard bit, but I wouldn’t vote for her to run the 4th largest economy in the world.

Kamala Harris has been elevated beyond a senator and above a governor by her effective work as Vice President and in her travels around the nation she has learned US. She is accepted internationally. It is the loss of the Red States to diminish her. I would help her rise to the presidency if asked.

Porter was my representative and did a great job. However, I didn't care for the way she acted the sore loser in last year's senate race. I'm not sold on her for the governor's job yet.

Shiff spent millions of dollars to boost Steve Garvey, his Republican opponent. He wanted the race to be Schiff versus Garvey, not Schiff versus Porter. It was a risky move, but it paid off for him.

Fair enough. I'd also contend that Barbara Lee's presence in that race did a fair amount of damage to Porter's campaign, too. Lee is known in NorCal, Porter's SoCal, and Schiff was better known statewide than both for his J6 Committee work.
