True. I used to joke that when you get off a plane at SFO the city should automatically hand everyone a hoodie. That said, I'll take our weather over the weather in much of the rest of the country any day.

I spent the bulk of my adult life in the Bay Area, east bay and then peninsula, and always marveled at the transformation as I headed for downtown SF. Then lived in New England for a decade… quite the shock. 😳

I'm from Chicago originally. I know of "weather" and I remain grateful to be in San Francisco.
