[stomping, clapping] SKUBAL! SKUBAL!
shame, prolly won't make it back in time to see the Trenton Thunder play the State College Spikes 😑
I don’t think it’s crazy if you have the time
Until we have NJTransit problems and get stuck in the mythical Central Jersey
If it makes you feel better, right now those are more likely to be SEPTA problems.
If you book far enough in advance Amtrak is pretty reasonably priced.
bit slower but works fine usually
Have done it many times but won’t be able to much longer, Harrisburg refusing to fund SEPTA is going to force SEPTA to eliminate the Trenton line next year :( wwww.septa.org/fundingcrisi...
“We might be on the same train as a random guy I follow on BlueSky!” I say excitedly to my girlfriend as she immediately gets off at the next stop
I'm glad the option exists but it feels so sad to do after you've done the <1.5 hour Amtrak. Have fun in Philly!
Should be fine if Amtrak isn't doing track work on the weekend. (They own the Northeast Corridor right of way.)
Sure you could do the sensible NJ Transit-Septa Regional Rail-Broad Street Line route. Or you could get a little wild and go NJ Transit-River Line light rail-PATCO-Broad Street Line. Get a few more transit agencies involved
