I was trying to shine a light on how silly the “selfish fool” comment was without being too aggressive. It’s a way to break the ice or push back in a conversation. They stopped replying.

Hey, if you want to be a saint and turn the other cheek when people call you names, go right ahead. Good for you. But you become a dick when you start demanding that of others.
