I think we caught it pretty early. We have one more blood panel in a couple months to be sure. Hope you have similar results! I was extremely worried too, but loads of people reassured me and it went very smoothly with the exception of the trip to the vet…she didn’t like the longer car ride at all!

She got to 6.8 pounds and I wasn't ready to give up on her. Was it the radio iodine therapy? That's what I did and yes, the car ride sucked!

Exactly. She got down to about 9 lbs. She was thin, but so much hair it was hard to tell. Vet picked up markers in her bloodwork in combo with weight loss. I was scared her personality would change, but we’re about 6 wks removed and she’s obviously doing better than before the treatment.

That's great to hear. Wheezy was at the vet all last week, and now it's day 4 of isolation at home. She doesn't understand why she can't be free to rule the house. She appears to be doing OK, but it's just gutting me up.

I’d just try to feed her a but more than normal and pay close attention to how much she’s eating & if she’s gaining weight. Those are sure signs.
