Was there much of a supporting cast in the Adventure Comics Spectre run in the seventies? I might remember a reporter, but wasn’t it mostly horrible crime/ironic death?

Mostly just Gwen Sterling. And it didn't last. Ostrander's run, which lasted, had more of a cast (and more room to tell the stories).
