Thank you for writing about your experience today. It's difficult to think of the 238 Mississippians who lost their lives, and I hope after these years you can focus on the many thousands more whose lives were saved through fore-warning and coordination with MEMA and local responders. All the best

HAM radios were invaluable. I remember getting a message via HAM to move to Memphis WFO from Jackson once the comms failed. We also received messages about ops for days after via HAM.
