Uphill battle here but solidarity with Texas Democrats- they are standing up for democracy - they deserve all the appreciation and love from around the country for fighting till the end.

Voters should be in the capital protesting in solidarity to let Republicans know that they are watching and think this is bullshit. In cases like this we should not be allowing our electeds to do all of the work.

Sadly, R’s have been stripping Dem’s of power for a while, now, in TX- just look at Houston, where the schools have literally been taken over by the state leaving families & parents completely voiceless.

Yep, when they don't get their way with their unethical scams, they make threats, including I think it was felony charges. Seriously felony charges when the Democrats try to stop them for further actions that destroy our democracy.

They also deserve financial relief. They make 7K a YEAR as Representatives. They're being fined $500 a day for leaving the state. Their entire salaries wouldn't even cover two weeks. They have other 'real' jobs for family income which are being impacted, too.
