The majority of progressives never get past the primary because they certainly aren’t the ones the DNC throws their weight behind. They’d rather fund anti-abortion candidates than a progressive in a race. They’re actually really good about making sure progressives don’t get on the ballot or win it.

The last time we had a real DNC primary was in 2008 and the progressive (sounding) candidate edged out the assumed winner. Which is why the DNC strongly discouraged other candidates in 2016 and pulled shenanigans in 2020 to get other candidates to drop out before Super Tuesday.
So Bernie wasn't the progressive in any of the primaries he was in? Progressives have a losing record. They routinely lose in their own party. The most right wing candidate in US History just won the popular vote and you guys are "If we were more left-wing we would have won." Touch all the grass.
