youtu.be/QROpbj_Yz-0 Gary Stevenson is a voice really worth listening to. We are living in a crisis of wealth and income inequality, where most people struggle to get by regardless of how "the economy" (stocks etc.) aree doing, and it can't be fixed without the political parties accepting reality.
The big leftist parties (social democratic parties, Labour, Democrats...) are offering "let's do status quo politics really really well" to the voters, which is definitely better, but not actually a solution, as it doesn't fix the main issue, which is massive wealth inequality.
The political right says the problem is immigration and to a lesser extent welfare and government spending. This is wrong and can't fix the problem, but they can always say "well the left didn't let us go far enough", which is why they keep going deeper and deeper into extremism.
