I saw an article a few years back with a headline that read "Study Reveals Dogs Feel Shame" and I thought 'DUH!" Anyone whose ever been greeted at the door by their dog after it's had an accident in the house knows immediately that something happened and that dogs feel shame. What a waste of funds.

I dunno. It could be argued that that’s a result of domestication. I mean do dogs feel shame in the wild? Do puppies feel shame? I don’t know, but I wonder.
