Assuming a goods deficit of ~$1T was tariffed at 100%, providing $1T in “external revenue,” with a 2025 spend at $6.8T there would still be a ~$6T revenue shortfall. Eliminating ~$5T in IRS receipts would not be possible. They teach math at Whartons?
