In Canada, the acronym begins “2S”, so “2SLGBTQIA++”, to represent two-spirited Indigenous people who were accepted in their cultures long before European contact, & because they lived here first. The “A” can mean “allies” or “asexual”, & the “++” represents categories not listed.
