I was really excited to see Blue Jays trending but it wasn't what I thought. I got to see one of these guys for the first time this year:

A european jay sitting on an oak branch. He's a reddish light brown bird overall, but he has marroon black and slate tail feathers, and a beautiful blue bit on one part of his wing. He has stripey feathers on his head and a little black mutton-chop looking bit of plummage by his beak. he's a jolly looking fellow in this photo, but they are very shy I tell you.
