Insofar regarding the trans issue, there is some variance in my opinion. One of the main issues I agree with Newsom about is fairness with the trans-athlete. My solution would be to have 4 sport categories instead of 2. Pretty simple. Trans pride is a thing.

Yep I agree, although thoughtful homeless policy needs to be worked and Newsom has been trying in California. People also need to think about people who live and pay rent in LA or other large cities on the west coast (CA WA OR) in neighborhoods that contain large homeless populations.

Homeless people shouldn’t occupy public spaces like parks. If they don’t leave when asked and leave their belongings, they’re abandoning them. I’ve lived in places with similar issues. Government housing and job programs help them. No candidate is perfect, so let’s not let perfection stop progress.

That's possible. I would like to see analysis of all sides. My view is that he has been sucking up to tech billionaires, MAGA culture war issues etc, and it's nice that's he's drawing some line at an actual military coup, but if his opportunism outweighs any moral compass, then he is not reliable.
If his lack of moral compass continues to lead him to tell Trump to go fuck himself, he'll continue to grow in popularity regardless of his actual policy positions

Newsom is trying to do something about homelessness and I applaud him for that. I worked in a homeless shelter for 2 years and homeless people don’t like encampments, either. The underlying issues need to be addressed and yes, encampments hurt small business and have taken down cities.
