Dance around 'tricky',, lose yer' Democracy. 😐
Every power structure has the potential to be flipped on its head. When the state decides what is true, and they have the power to silence, you also lose your democracy. Need I remind you of the Patriot act? Laws meant to keep America “safe”. Without it, there would be no DHS.
Without DHS, Trump would not have his own private army. What, in my opinion, should be done is funding be put into schools to teach media literacy.
Pretty sure we're on the same page, talking past each other. I don't disagree with anything you've said - but again, cut the head off the freaking snake. Yes, education is important, but putting an end to the intentional spreading of PROVABLE lies should be front and center.
There would have to be safeguards put in place so that the laws cannot be politicized.
