My brother's first serious bf in highschool was a furry. And while my brother ultimately didn't identify was a furry, he had such a wonderful and kind community that let him figure himself out sans judgment. Always been grateful he had that community to support him.
This is beautiful, having a safe, creative community can be life-changing. It’s amazing how art, stories, and shared spaces let people explore themselves without fear or judgment.
We have to protect it. All of it. Please keep pushing for freedom of expression dude. You are such an influential voice. I don’t know you but I’ve always admired your passion. You don’t know me but I know you’ve seen me around long enough. Please don’t forget us in this fight.

Crowd source gender and sexuality is/was such a nice way for us to get a good starting database of knowledge that we can trim down, as it has helped me a lot, like I don't think my flavor of asexuality would otherwise have gotten to me. -Teenager, student in stem.
Furry is how I figured out who I am.
I've been chill about my sexuality and gender for so long now it's easy to forget that it used to be absolutely terrifying to me and I don't know how I would have found my way without furries. So thank you fluffs, I appreciate you
Circles made me realize and admit to myself that I was gay. I'll always be grateful to it for that.

Being able to see myself in a cartoon dog wearing the clothes I was too scared to try on is the thing that finally opened up my life to me. Wouldn't be anything I am today without that.
