I had my first mammogram in 1991. They were still the squish-'em-flat kind, but the alternative was to do without and possibly live to regret it. I think it was ten years ago that my hospital started using a machine that wasn't so sadistic AND got a better quality picture. Don't put it off.💐
I would add too that when you get a great, skilled technician they know exactly how to position you so the discomfort is minimal. Makes all the difference ☺️
True. My technicians are very good, and check with me throughout the procedure, both sides, to make sure I'm still relatively comfortable.
