Time all I knew was they were really kind and sweet ppl who remained in my life until they passed. Truly good people. And I learned so much from them . You posting that video really made memories flow and GOOD memories Ty!

Ty!!! I have been in love with them and had their cassette lol since I was 12 and got my Sony Walkman for Xmas from my daddy when I flew to San Francisco to spend the holidays with him. That was in 1982 or 1981 i think. I played waiata on repeat so much I ran the batteries out in days lol . Good Xs
In 1979 I worked in an electronics store. I sold the very first Walkmans β¦ I remember thinking I was going to wear out cassettes and would bring them into the store to have our main electronics guy βdubβ them for me. Sketchy, but I got copies of my favorite tapes.
