Yes Hamas’s big mistake was thinking Netanyahu’s government would withdraw the IDF from Gaza in order to release the hostages. Hamas offered that on 9 October 2023. But Netanyahu wanted an excuse to remove or deport all the Gazans to make the land part of Eretz Israel - the Israeli Empire.
Israel is also trying to take over the West Bank; it is attacking Lebanon, Jordan and Syria. With your reference to Eretz Israel you reveal Israel’s colonial ambitions. How long will the world tolerate Isreal’s wars that kill innocent civilians, destroy culture, destroy the environment?
