Went to AK in 2017, bought James Michener's book: Alaska. Was having fun until a 50 pg. chapter about salmon right in the middle. Stopped me dead. Reminded me of A West Wing episode. A voter is harassing a White House aide about salmon runs: "All I know about salmon is they taste great on a bagel."
