No elected officials should have protection. If we have to live in fear,so should they. All of them.

Honestly, she’s probably safer *without* federal agents in her space 24/7.

Let’s not forget he removed security protections earlier this year for Alejandro Mayorkas, Mike Pompeo, Brian Hook, former U.S. special representative for Iran, Mark Milley, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Anthony Fauci. Many of these people can’t afford private security.

How does this action protect and defend anything? How does this action help one single American? This excuse for a human being is playing with fire! Small, petty, vindictive, stupid, selfish, hateful, ugly!

When Trump is out of office, Democrats should remove his entire family’s protection.

At the moment, our cankle-in-chief is a wanna be orange Idi Amin without the military garb. The latter, I am sure, is coming soon.

I thought Veeps got SS protection for at least a few years after they leave office. Did congress change that?

I didn’t know that. I’m a bit surprised too, since I’d assume that 6 months after leaving office, a Veep has classified info in their heads that someone might want to extract.

I think he really wants one of these people to be killed. He can't risk actually shooting somebody on Fifth Avenue, but if someone takes out Harris or Bolton, he'll have the secret satisfaction of knowing he made it happen.

Don't fully agree. The American ideal is that you return to being a citizen when you leave office, and we shouldn't have a burgeoning security state protecting more + more ex-officials (Bolton) and their family (Biden's kids), etc. Of course Trump will abuse this himself.

In fact, he did in 2020, right? He extended Secret Service protection for his adult children just before leaving the White House.
