Exactly what I was thinking. I would add an "offensive" book (LGBTQ, slavery, holocaust, evolution, etc) to every lesson. Make them opt out every time. Maybe their kids would start to see the isolation their parents are causing them.

And put the student all alone in a room. (Schools have the facilities for this because of in house suspension policies.) Every field trip visits something “offensive” too. See how long this lasts.
