Sometimes I think that the real problem in the US is that we actually believe that it is better to defend our mistakes than it is to resolve to do better in future.
I just don't get how this is among even the top 10 problems to be concerned about, whoever is on the list. The country is coming apart at the seems; details of Epstein's crimes/scandals don't keep me up at night like the other things.
