The first large-scale Nazi book burning was on 6 May 1933, when Magnus Hirschfeld's Institut fΓΌr Sexualwissenschaft in Berlin was attacked by Nazi students. It would take decades for science to recover the knowledge about trans-affirming healthcare that was destroyed that day.

Schools need to be teaching 1984, Fahrenheit 451, and Brave New World RIGHT NOW. And *really* teaching it. Like make students sit and read key passages in class and then discuss it. And then talk about what fascism really looked like.

hiya, i totally agree, naturally. im not trying to be rude or mean. but when you say "trans brothers and sisters" you conspicuously exclude other genders. there's no need to include or exclude genders, especially when referring to the lgbt population. you can just say siblings! :) not being rude
