Unhappy cat after fire drill lasted much longer than usual. I opted to stay inside thinking it would be brief. Hopefully he’ll forgive me.

Well, he was cuddling in my lap happy to be in a safe place when I took the pic. He does have some evil looks, though.

Quite a scowl wasn't it! I think he's back to normal. There is an alarm bell inside every apartment, so it's super loud and piercing. I had to pull him out from under the bed, but he's being mischievous again so he must be over it.

Good. I know it must be so traumatic for pets. We might find it annoying, but at least we understand what’s happening. They just endure this excruciating noise that makes no sense to them. Poor little thing.

I take him out for the ones I know will be long, but this was just a routine test. I guess I'll need to take him out for all of them now. It's super loud to my ears, I can't imagine how it hurts a cat's sensitive ears.

He was not happy! I don’t think he was mad at me though, since I was in a different room when it happened. He saw me as safety. He’s over it now. I hope.
