Why? Does it really help the Democratic cause to elect candidates who can't, or won't, vote with the party? Winning a seat in Congress is meaningless if the Republicans get the vote. I'm not committing my vote to a party that thinks its job is to provide employment to politicians.

Ok, so don't vote?That is the same as a vote for the Republican. A Democrat still caucuses with the Democrats and still holds SOME Progressive values. This is why Hillary lost in 2016. The hyper-idealistic Democrats take their ball and go home if it's not exactly who or what they want. Its childish.

I do not agree that an unwillingness to compromise is at the root of Democratic problems. We have compromised our values to the point that swing voters don't think we have any. We are perceived as weak, because we are.
