The good news is probably half the people in the administration think this makes it law. The bad news is that the majority in Congress do, too, and a few in SCOTUS are happy to play along.

The scariest part of the descent into hell we are experiencing is the degree to which the “hallowed” institutions of democracy seem to fervently facilitating violent fascism. Courts, universities, and especially the papers: at best they’ve clearly mostly given up. At worst they are accelerationist.
