Not only they recognize the human face but it been proven that they pass the information to their sibling. So a crow who had never see you will recognize you according to visual description made by their parents! I love them!!

I got to learn animal psychology from one of the corvid researchers during my time at UW. Crows have regional dialects and may even give each other “names” (one sound a pair may use to call to each other, for the bond rather than individual). They hold funerals for their family members too!

When I was a kid the neighbours crow used to follow me to school. He made sure I got to school. It was unsettling as a kid but no explained their intelligence. His name was Crow. 😂
