As JJK wrapped last year I found myself thinking about the upcoming Virgo–Pisces eclipse cycle. Especially in connection with Gege’s next project. Well, Gege’s new short-term series will debut in WSJ next week. Gege will be handling the writing, while the artwork will be done by Yuji Iwasaki.

I think Gege Akutami learned a lot of creative (and health) lessons while serializing Jujutsu Kaisen. Personally, I'm excited for their next project. Especially as we fully enter the Pisces-Virgo eclipse cycle. 8:08 PM • 9/27/24 •

The upcoming lunar eclipse on 9.7 will be conjunct (almost exact) Gege’s natal mercury btw.

This issue of Shōnen Jump will be released on September 8th. Right after the lunar eclipse peaks.
