When I was a kid, my dad worked on the second #TheBayBridge. I miss the #ChesapeakeBay Really enjoyed seeing your photo! Happy Labor Day!

It’s officially called the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, but us locals call it the Bay Bridge. It’s not to be confused with the world-famous Bay Bridge in San Francisco.

I grew up on Kent Island. Back when you could play all day on the piers and build tree forts in the woods. 😊

Same here, but not on Kent Island – which is quite beautiful. We were fortunate to grow up in such a time. I grew up in a rural part of South Carolina, where I played on piers and built tree forts in the woods as well. Those are happy memories, Kat. 😊👍
