The scale in Pikmin is always all over the place and it kinda irks me

The scale in Pikmin is not consistent. For example we know Louie is about the same size as Olimar, but when compared to this Famacom disc he would be much smaller than seen in the image above

i won't say you're wrong on a technical level, the scale is probably slightly different between games and promo material. but the difference is like, within an inch. the pikmin are very clearly tiny lil bug guys

Yeah, I’m not saying they’re sometimes 6 feet tall, I said the scale is inconsistent.
