There's nothing quite like the exquisite emphasis and subtle stress that we can put on the word "Sir", when pointing out to a junior officer that they are doing something not only incorrectly, but foolishly wrong. They teach us that at SNCO school, did you know that? 😎
one thing you pick up quickly working in EOD where it's pretty much all SNCO and WO is what they're actually saying vs what the words mean. I settled on being the guy they'd follow out of curiosity.
