He’s such a cutie. Sam gives actual smiles, which I love! I need to try to capture one. Connor always looks serious, but he is the most unserious dog unless it’s BALLNOW. Then he’s all serious business.

- lovely dog but she’s on the reactive side - likes to squish into teeny spaces & sleep with her head pointed towards the fan - deeply suspicious of any change in the neighborhood - tore her ccl but doing well post tplo - slowing down a lot at 11, so only needs 3 miles/day to take the edge off

Cody is going on six and the wife is starting to give him a break, "He's changing!" Territorial and thank god, not a runner, sticks home waiting for something to happen that he thinks he needs be part of. He's starting to get out of the English "sleep against the wall with my legs up it."

His best bud is our neighbors female corgi. They beat the shit out of each other, hilarious zoomies, he absolutely loves to be chased. Even though he's an indoor fellow he's amazingly frost-proof. Never seen him shiver, spends the time it takes getting the snow dingleberries out between his toes.

we have a runner (frolicker) but she’ll come back… eventually. vet suggested lying down in the road/field to lure her back which has worked very well. both she & our prior es did “legs against the wall,” i hadn’t realized til now that she’s backed off that

I don’t want him too get fat, but he does get a lot of treats! I get rotisserie chicken and they get all the skin and chicken I should probably eat, but I have enough so they can have these bits. At least that’s what I tell the hubby. 😂
