I think they should be melted down and poured over Trump's head but your thing is fine too I guess.

That is bad. Those $1 decorations are made from polyurethane and have gold spray on them. If you melt that down, you get "carbon monoxide, hydrogen cyanide and other toxic products on decomposition and combustion". Yeah, that would be OK.
