My Dad served 25 years and 3 wars in the Army. WWII, Korea and Vietnam. When I think of what he sacrificed and what he was willing to sacrifice, having taken that oath….. This shit makes my blood boil 😡

Thank you for posting this. The thing that worries me the most is no one was charged for Kent State massacre. I remember back in 1970, America wasn’t as fked up as it is now. If someone gets killed, do you think anyone will be held accountable?

I remember James Mitchner writing an apologia in Reader’s Digest about how the poor dears in the National Guard could be forgiven for shooting, because the protesters were the ages of their own sisters. I’m serious! Apparently they were so shocked by that they shot kids in daylight. Fuck Him

In May of 1970, I was 13, and my dad was in Vietnam. He had always voted republican, but in 1972 he voted for George McGovern. He’s 93 now, and hates trump. Btw, he’s a PhD.

I shook hands with McGovern that year. I hate Trump, as your dad does.

Short answer? No. Because Trump purged anyone who would oppose him in the first months. All that is left are the ones who want this to happen. So no one will be held accountable, unless we are able to defeat the GOP and take back our country.
