It’s Lee Atwater’s construction… He built Nixon, Jerry Falwell + RWRaygun into “the moral majority” with racist dog-whistles when Falwell fell & Raygun sunsetted, he launched the Newt Gingrich & then died… Gingrich codified the dogma of Atwater & they built Liberty U upon it…

It’s a whole political religion built on racism & “jeeees-uuusssss”… Nixon is their actual Messiah, and they believe his impeachment was their cross… Bobby Bork their first Saint~ the Heritage Foundation, their conclave & Vatican. They believe only in maintaining their own political power…period.

They have been allowed to hide behind religion, preach their politics from the pulpit, avoid paying taxes for OBVIOUSLY POLITICAL ACTIVITY… while using taxes to handicap their rivals… But mostly, we have ceded the bottom of the social barrel to them… deplorables, the intellectual LCD, toxic males…

That was Atwater’s “genius”… Using the worst parts of human nature that progressives & moral people generally reject~ to build a coalition of the worst people, the lost, confused & dumbest folks & the greediest corporate~mostly petroleum & defense based~entities on the backs of POC & the poor.

And immigrants… Raygun’s ‘amnesty’ for Latinos was meant to set Latinos & blacks against each other for the crumbs of minimum wage jobs, and impoverished urban housing… To help maintain that permanent underclass with built in social divides you can stoke when you need distractions…

All the while concentrating white political power into a political religion… Crime is a function of poverty… period. By concentrating poverty into racially diverse urban areas through housing restrictions & economic means, they have built the pretense they base their entire political religion on.

Problem is the head fake is no longer working when those very urban areas have started to solve those problems & become the economic powerhouses of the nation… It is now the rural areas that are becoming economically blighted…they hate on the big cities who they blame their local meth problems on.

The political-religious dogma they have built the last 50 yeas on is becoming harder & harder to maintain in the face of reality… So this orange idiot clown who lies w/ every word is the obvious climax… But, you’re right about the orange idiot being an exploiter not auteur in the shady tent show.
